The school year is fast coming to an end and you’ll soon find yourself having to store and save your kids’ precious work. If you have been paring them down through the year, then that will be easier, but if not then the task becomes daunting!
With three boys in elementary school and a mother (mine!) asking me to save *everything* I was drowning in paper and loosing my mind every end of the year having to sort and decide what to keep, what to toss.
I came up with a system that works super well and keeps everyone sane, speciously this mama!
Watch this short video with my tips to keep what you love and do it in a way that makes your life simpler. No more end of the year stress! Just fun.
How do you keep the kids’ work and art?
Have a great week.

As a Brazilian married to an American who’s member of the US Navy I have been traveling with the children at least once a year to visit family both in Brazil and in the US. The twins were chubby 4 month old babies when we first traveled abroad and this year we’ll enjoy Christmas and New Year’s Eve in Rio after 12 years celebrating the season in the US.
I’ll have to pack for all of us, have our documents ready and make sure… Continue reading

My life is as busy as the life of any mom who works, wants to spend quality time with her loved ones and still wants to pursue her dreams to live a fulfilling life! If you prepare your own school lunch to send with your little ones in those “super cool” lunch boxes but, like us, you don’t want to worry about it daily, here is a simple list to attach to the inside of your kitchen cabinet or pantry door. One colum for the food choices, the other for what to buy.
Having it available takes away the guessing game and makes preparing lunch a lot easier. It also allow your children to pick what they want, from the choices that are given.… Continue reading
If you are heading to college after summer, first my congratulations! A very exciting time is about to begin for you and I still remember my first days in College as a Law student! It was a mixed feeling of “I can do it all” and “where should I start”, but with time, guidance and dedication all falls into place.
In my culture we don’t leave home early, being quite common to live with our parent until we marry. So, I didn’t have to… Continue reading
I have the privilege to have Andre as a friend. In so many moments of my life he has been a rock for me. For these moments and for the many, many others when he just showers me with his friendship, I’m forever grateful. But, most of all, I owe him the happiness of being so happily married!
For my English speaking friends, I apologize for the lack of translation.
For my Brazilian friends, I hope this letter inspire you, as it did to me, to be more, to be better, to… Continue reading
